The authority records might be related to people, places or social constructs such as organisations or businesses. The database also includes all the additional data needed to describe these things, such as occupations, places of education, language and nationality. Based on [https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Main_Page Wikidata], but using a simplified ontology, the data is presented as Linked Open Data and this makes it easier for us to define relationships between entities in our collections. All the data is bilingual and available on an Open Licence. The dataset can be accessed manually or using an [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/API API] or [https://snarc-llgc.wikibase.cloud/query/ Query Service].
