The Rev. Thomas George Davies (1900-77) was a Baptist minister, and principal of the Presbyterian College, Carmarthen. He was born in Llangennech, Carmarthenshire, and was educated at Ammanford Junior School and Llanelli Grammar School. He attended University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, the University College of North Wales, Bangor, and the Baptist College, Bangor, 1918-1924. He was minister of Nebo, Ebbw Vale, 1925-1929, and Tabernacl Baptist church, Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, 1929-1956. He taught theology and other subjects part-time, and became head of Carmarthen Preparatory School, 1952-1956. He was appointed Principal of the Presbyterian College, Carmarthen, in 1958, having already taught there.
