Rhydderch Jones was a dramatist and television producer, who was born in 1935 in Aberllefenni, Merionethshire, and studied at Bangor Normal College. He was a teacher in London and Wales. In 1965 he joined the entertainment department at the BBC and produced stage plays for radio and television. The popular series ‘Fo a Fe’ was co-written by him and his friend Gwenlyn Parry. His biography of Ryan Davies was published in 1980.
