Hanfodion

• Mae data cysylltiedig yn gweithio trwy gysylltu endidau data i greu data strwythuredig cyfoethog ar ffurf dreblai. Er enghraifft,

• Mae creu data manwl yn arwain at set ddata fwy rhyng-gysylltiedig.

• Wrth greu eitemau newydd (cliciwch 'New Item' yn y ddewislen ar y chwith) ar gyfer pobl neu leoedd mae'n bosib na welwch y data sydd ei angen arnoch i'w disgrifio, megis y lle y cawsant eu geni neu eu haddysgu. Pan fydd hyn yn digwydd dylech geisio greu eitem ar wahân ar gyfer yr endid hwnnw er mwyn cwblhau eich eitem data, ond gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod wedi chwilio'r gronfa ddata yn drylwyr yn gyntaf er mwyn osgoi creu eitemau dyblyg. Gallwch archwilio eitemau tebyg er mwyn gweld sut y dylid strwythuro'r data, neu edrychwch ar y tablau isod.

• Wrth greu unrhyw eitem newydd dylech bob amser chwilio am, a chynnwys y dynodwr Wikidata, os yw'n bodoli, gen defnyddio URI Wikidata (P62). Mae hyn yn helpu i gadw'r ddwy set ddata wedi'u halinio ac yn caniatáu ymholiadau ffederal ar draws y ddwy gronfa ddata.
